Day 1: Rabat - Transfer to hotel
Welcome to Morocco! Upon arrival in Rabat, you will be met by your driver and transferred to your hotel for check-in. The driver will give you a brief overview of your entire trip to Morocco. Khamlia is important for its rich history, and many people visit it nowadays to get a chance to experience the genuine Gnaoua music played by its masters. After that, we will roam free through the endless desert dunes, meeting Nomad families and spending time with them to learn more about their lifestyle.
Finally, after heading back to our hotel for lunch, we will ride our camels through the sunset and head to the desert camp where we will be spending the night. You will enjoy a cozy atmosphere around a campfire and under the starry night sky, followed by a mouthwatering dinner before sleeping in our tents.
Day 7: Merzouga - Visit Berber Villages - Tinghir - Dades Gorge
This next morning desert tour from Casablanca program, we will all wake up in time to admire the sun rising and casting her beautiful colors on the desert dunes, then we will return to Merzouga riding our camels once more.
You can shower and have breakfast at the hotel, before we start driving towards the famous Todra Gorges. Day 8: Dades Gorge - Ouarzazate - Ait Ben Hadou - Marrakech
After an early breakfast, you will go to Ouarzazate, a desert city at the gateway to the desert. Its strange name means “no noise” in the Berber language. Walk through the village of Taourirt, which was built in the 12th century and is still inhabited today. It is an important city on the road between the Sahara and northern Morocco.
